ABOUT ME

I grew up in Washington State. I've been living in Seattle for over three years now. I love it, the city is great. I love music, outdoor sports and meeting new people. I don't like the rain, but I like the sun (When it is sunny here). My life is a bit more busy than it was when I first started hosting, but I still am allowing surfers to crash.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about the journey, not about the destination. When you are adventuring through it, it isn't your job to force your ways onto others. It's their life as well, so let them live it the way they want to.

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch and my knowledge of Washington. Born and Raised. I host as much as possible (I am pretty busy with work and some other volunteering I do). Sometimes I host without being available to show you around. Which means I'm pretty trusting with my stuff. When I am not busy I love showing people the city. As far as transportation, I have a motorcycle to drive someone around if they are comfortable with it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first experience in Bangkok in Nov of 2011. It was great, had lots of fun being shown around and can't say how amazing it is to be able to put your guard down and enjoy everything around you.

I've hosted lots of people. A lot more than I've actually surfed. I enjoy it a lot. My friends think it's strange until they actually meeting my guests. It's funny watching their opinions change over the years from thinking it's weird I let strangers in my house to really embracing the idea.

I'm a big fan of French Films, English Comedy and Korean dramas. Of course I like the hollywood stuff as well, but who doesn't?

As far as music, it really goes more into what I don't like. I'm not a big fan of country, that's about it. Just country. The rest, I like.

Science fiction is my favorite genre, the wool series is great. I'm obsessed with game of thrones.

I'm good with computers. I know Seattle very well, as well as Washington. If any of you travelers are in school and need help with anything, I'd love to share my skills with you.
