CURRENT MISSION
\\Live life as it should be, one adventure at a time//
ABOUT ME
Brazilian by blood, but a citizen of the World by heart.
I've always struggled to define the word 'home' although for a moment I though it could be Berlin... then the bug got me again and I moved on :)
I've lived long years in New Zealand, Canada, Scotland, Spain, Brazil, France, Germany, Belgium and now USA.
I really love the outdoors, I love to camp, bike, swim, play sports, watch the sunset, take photos, cook for other people, bake, watch movies at home, be a geek, play cards, receive a postcard [sigh], meditate, sleep in... learn the wisdom of Mother Nature and of the elderly... compare cultures... And I'm not ready to stop discovering this amazing world which is ours.
//--//--//--//--//
I like to think of myself as an easy-going person, open-minded, who loves to learn new languages. I will sleep anywhere as long as there is a roof to protect me from the elements and it's not below 5ºC!
I've visited 48 states of the world (21.3%) - check out the maps on my old profile!

PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is simple: I treasure every day and I value every moment of happiness. I don't believe there are bad people in the world, just people with different points of view.
I'm sure if I talked to them, I would understand their motivations.
Every morning when I wake up I tell myself that if I were to die today, I would die a happy man.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Even though sometimes all we need is a big tight hug, there are also times when what we really need is simply a genuine 'thank you'. I have learned with CS that it is extremely rewarding to be able to give to the community without expecting anything in return other than a new friend and a wide smile :)
I have surfed, hosted and joined many CS events and I can confirm that every single experience I've had has been a good one!
I'm always impressed at how peculiar a phenomenon, the principle of CouchSurfing is. Even though anyone can sign up, at the end all those who take the time to join the community are people with a good heart.
It makes me really sad to hear that the founders of this phenomenon are now driven by $$$...

My biggest interests at this point in my life are Travelling (of course), juggling, robots (that's what I study), photography, biking, camping, meditation...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The one most amazing thing in my life? The fact that my 25+ years of life = 25+ years of travelling!
The most amazing trips I've ever done are probably crossing Chile from North (Santiago) to South (Tierra del Fuego), swimming in the lakes of the Lençoes do Maranhão in North-East Brazil, sleeping with nomads in the Sahara, hiking/camping 5 days in the Andes at 4000m of altitude...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to hear what your favorite non fiction book is if you have one!
I can share more travel experiences than you would have patience for, so ask if you want and let me know when it's enough :)
I can also teach many things so if you're learning something and want an additional perspective, try me!
Countries I’ve Lived In
