ABOUT ME

Belgian girl, actually a woman (31 years old) but I prefer to see myself as a girl :-) I live in Cartagena, Spain with my Spanish boyfriend. I have done all kinds of jobs, travelling to many places. The last three years I have spent in Spain, first working with homeless people, then teaching English.
I see myself as a friendly and spontaneous person, talkative and most of the time cheerful :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Try to live your life the fullest. Don't let society keep you locked up in all the things you 'have to' do... Everyone is free, so enjoy this freedom, but don't forget to try to achieve your personal goals and helping each other out if we can...

Volunteering in NGO's in Belgium and outside, helping out other people...
Sports like african dancing, horseback riding, swimming... I would also like to learn diving.
And off course: just relaxing in the sun on a nice and quiet beach, listening to the sound of the ocean...

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: A thousand splendid suns (Hosseini), Tirza (Grunberg), the books of Milan Kundera, Freedom (Franzen), Siddartha (Herman Hesse), and many many more...I love books, the way they feel and smell :-)
Music: All kinds of music, lately especially Spanish music... all kinds of Spanish music, from Bebe to Burning to Buena Vista Social club...
Movies: Le fabuleux destin de amelie poulain is my all time favourite movie!! La vita e bella! I saw this one many times and at the end I always have to cry :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Senegal and Peru were probably the trips that most inspired me...
