COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to CouchSurfing just before traveling over to Switzerland & France. I was a little bit wary of the whole thing until I surfed at Pius and Andrea's in Zurich with my friends - they were incredibly gracious and welcoming, and I felt like an old friend from the moment I met them. I had such a fantastic experience that I was completely sold on CouchSurfing and never looked back.

I like a wide variety of things such as kayaking, camping, hiking, backpacking, ultimate frisbee & frisbee golf (pretty much anything outdoors), museums, festivals, theater, strategic board games and most things in between.

I love swing dancing.

I'm a big fan of 80's music, classic rock, disco, and pretty much anything else besides country and death metal.

Books I have enjoyed over the past few months: Surrender to Love by David G. Benner and Shadow of the Hegemon by Orson Scott Card.

Traveling solo through Japan - it was my first time traveling in Asia and my first time traveling alone... it was wicked awesome, and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Seeing the Taj Mahal; I almost expected to be let down because it is the quintessential icon of India, and I figured it had to be over hyped... It turns out I was wrong, because it was every bit as fantastic as you could expect.
