I love music, film, rock climbing, mountains and walking, cooking and travel! I play the Kora, a west african harp, and i love learning about a culture through its music.

PHILOSOPHY

We have a responsibility to be the best human beings we can for ourselves, the world and others in the short time we are here. I try not to waste any time, give whatever I can to others and experience everything as fully as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, and I am looking forward to hosting when I get a place to live with a couch/space. I currently live on my little boat, Misty, in London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had great surfing experiences in Mali, Senegal and other places, and have always come away feeling very lucky and privileged to have met my hosts and seen their home region.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the top of Stok Khangri, in the Ladakhi himalayas, sick with altitude but having climbed to 6123m in a blizzard. My highest mountain!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know about organic gardening, pests and cures etc. and am happy to share and learn. I studied social anthropology, queer studies, migration studies, and am happy to talk about it :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook well, do chores, (pick up groceries, help with tidying etc) and generally be helpful.
