ABOUT ME

I didn't set out to be a teacher, but I've realized it's how I've been approaching the world all along. For me, teaching is about helping people (including myself!) figure out what they want to do and then helping them find the means to make it happen.

As I reflect it back on myself, that plays out with being willing to try something new, even if it's not in my wheelhouse, whether it's drawing comics, learning to bellydance, or making cheese. Also, finding the strength to be nice to myself if I don't get it perfectly the first time (see above list).
