My name is Célia and I am travelling in Japan for an entire year as a Working Holiday Visa holder.
I am a French, 28-year-old female.
I am fluent in English as I have lived for 2 years in England and 2 ½ years in the US. I can also speak Spanish at an intermediate level. Plus, I have started learning Japanese in April.

Travelling to Japan for a year has been a long-time project and dream.
Meeting new people is my motto. That’s what I do every single day when I welcome International guests to my hotel. That is what I do for a living and what I do as a person. I cannot imagine travelling without meeting new people or by just staying by myself. I need to gather myself with locals or other backpackers who are curious about the world and other cultures.

I love books, but as I have been backpacking for almost a year now, it is difficult to buy new books each time. This is why I invested in a Kindle. Best idea ever. I am all about the classics (Jules Verne, Dickens, Emile Zola...)
