I'm a fun-loving, warm-hearted person who has spent way too long staying in one place. The world is shrinking and I intend on seeing more of it. I grew up in the Hudson Valley in New York and moved to the State of Rhode Island when I was married in 1996. I have been and exchange student to Scotland and have hosted exchange students from Germany and volunteered helping many exchange students from all over the world. I enjoy understanding people through their culture .
I love learning new things, especially about food and spirituality, crafts and history.

I adore meeting new interesting people . I see couch surfing as a way to do that. When I travel I want to be fully immersed in local life. I am bored as a traditional tourist.
