One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Venice, I wanted to see San Remo Square. I went there on foot from train station. When I got there I saw 1 meter high platform in the square. I wonder why they put these platforms. I thought there might be a concert. Later I saw that the water began rising and covering the square. When water got higher the people who were in the square got onto the platform and keep walking on the platforms.
