I studied/work on Psychology with a focus on the social construction of the so called mental diseases. I grew up in a village so, although I appreciate the perks of big cities, I'm definitely a country girl. I love to discuss all sorts of social subjects and - as if eating wasn't a big part of portuguese culture already - I recently became vegan so I'm now even more excited about food :D If the word "vegan" didn't scared you already, I'm a feminist too. And if you're still reading by now, I think we should definitely meet :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the era of gentrification, the connection with locals is even more important to fulfill my/the purpose of traveling: to face what is foreign to our understanding and therefore question what we see as innate. Without people, there's no story.

I'm from the north of Portugal and studied in the center, I lived in Barcelona [Es] and somewhere in Devon [UK]. In our common house, in the city where I studied, we received dozens of people through the years and even if I don't remember them all, I learned to be thankful for all the amazing things that come in when you open your doors to the world.
