I am a 35-year old third-culture kid (TCK), or global citizen, that has lived in Singapore, Australia (Brisbane) and the United States. By nationality, I am Singaporean.

I am an easy-going and friendly gal that can fit into almost any situation. I enjoy variety and change, and am comfortable allowing each day to unfold on its own terms. Rigidly enforced rules that leaves no room for compromise makes me nervous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to couch surfing in 2014, but never got around to using it. I'm now on couch surfing because, well, I'm at juncture in my life and for the first time, I am moving solo to new city (Melbourne) with no job and no house, and it is honestly a little scary. I'm looking to make more local connections and want to stay away from the backpacking scene, for now, as I concentrate on building my life from scratch again.

Sports: Rock climbing, walking trails, swimming, horse-riding, playing pool, roller-blading, cycling.
Arts: Photography, performing arts, museum and art exhibitions
Crafting: DIY crafting, cross-stitching
Lifestyle: Religion and Spirituality (Esoteric), psychology, self-improvement, reading, writing, travelling (who doesn't if you're on CS? :P ), oh and videogaming :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just did my first solo trip backpacking across Indonesia for a month - hiking up a volcano, riding a scooter, jumping off waterfalls.
Maybe normal for some...amazing for me :)
