About Me

Hello !

We are Céline and Terry, a couple of French travellers of 28 and 31 years-old.

OUR STORY :
We decided to quit our jobs back in 2013 and discover what the world had to offer !

Starting with south-east Asia : we took our backpacks and spent 9 months there.
We had the great opportunity to volunteer in Dharamsala, India. This is the place where a lot of Tibetan refugees are welcome.
We spent one week in collecting the recyclable waste from the local people and also spent two weeks teaching French to Tibetan refugees.
Those were two amazing experiences that taught us a lot about tibetan culture, history, and also humility facing such incredible people.

During our stay in Japan, we were hosted 2 weeks in an orchard with a magnificient view on Mount Fuji !
That was also a wonderful time learning about another culture and also exchanging views with other travellers.

Back to France, we decided to buy a van and arrange it to travel through Europe.
We spent 4 months working and learning every day and became quite handy with some tools !
Then, 5 months of wandering in the southern european countries in our little mobile home, camping in incredible places and seeing beautiful landscapes from our car door !

Now we are starting a 2-years travel : first with few weeks in the Philippines, then one year of Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand and finally with one year backpacking in South America.

OUR PLAN :
In the future, we would like to buy a piece of land somewhere nice, build our own tiny house, and become as much self-sustainable with energy, food and waste disposal as we can !
So we would also be happy to learn about this if we have the opportunity during our travel !

FEW MORE DETAILS :
Non-smokers, animal lovers, vegetarian friendly (we try to reduce the amount of meat we eat but there will be no problem at all if we eat non-veg meals !).

Hope to see you soon !
