我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to go to Nicaragua for 3 weeks to volunteer. Experiencing the generosity and genuine happiness that these people demonstrated solely because of my presence and the presence of the other high schoolers in our program is something that I will never forget. Their beauty radiated. Since this trip, I have continued to volunteer as well as done a few other volunteering trips, including three trips that I led to Mississippi for education, Colorado for flood relief services, and San Francisco for feeding the houseless. I am passionate about people, and I continue volunteering because, as cheesy as it sounds, it warms my heart.
