Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple of weeks ago I walked across England along Hadrian's Wall path and stayed with a friends friends friends then ended up staying on when my other friends left. Ended up getting to see parts of Newcastle that I never would have seen. That's what I love about seeing a city with people who live there. You always know where you live best

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: travel autobiographies, just finished The House of Spirits by Isabelle Allende, Small Change by Nabeel Hamdi. I love lending and being lent favourite books.
Music: Jazz, funk, bit of hip hop, bit of folk, always live music, it's always a tough question to answer
Movies: City of God, Monty Python, Man with a movie camera

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding for 3 hours on the back of a motorbike in Vietnam with a couple of the most amazing guides you'd ever meet in order to cross the border and squeeze into a "taxi" to get to the capital.
One of the most meaningful things I've ever done was moving to Cambridge to start a job, not knowing anyone, and discovering that there are amazing people wherever you end up living.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've just finished a GCSE in Spanish
I'm interested in learning more about other people's cultures
