It is not important how nice or how disgusting the local habits, just do it to feel the real atmosphere! Then, you will be a real traveler.

Since I live in a dormitory in Istanbul, the dormitory makes me a person who knows how to live properly in communal life. I am not a messy person- always tidy my own room before leaving home and I promise that I will be the most gladful host you will ever meet :)

By the way, cats and birds scare me to death - so I cannot stay in a house with pets as cat and bird, unfortunately.

The main aim is to travel new countries, obviosly, but very firstly, it is much more important not to be a tourist but to experience the city as a local guide. If you don't eat, drink or walk on the streets as if a habitant, you cannot say that "Yeah, I've been there".

And we all need these people to make us feel like we are the mentioned habitants who take us to drink German beer, French wine, Italian coffee or Spanish sangria.
