ABOUT ME

After being back in my hometown for about a year and a half, I'm ready to hit the road again! I'll be heading to Australia in April (2014) with my boyfriend to spend a year there on a work and holiday visa. Couldn't be more excited for the adventures to come and, as always, the people I'll meet along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to Couch Surfing while studying abroad during my junior year of university. Though I haven't had the opportunity to offer my couch yet, the experiences that I've had so far staying with others have been amazing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in France, Turkey and Greece. Every time I do it, I meet extremely interesting people that have made my time wherever I happen to be so much better than it would have been had I just stayed in a hostel. When you couch surf, you can learn a lot more about an area and get locals' views and opinions on what there is to do. Some of my favorite memories have been of activities and places I wouldn't have even realized existed without the help of my hosts.

Traveling as much as possible, trying new food, learning how to cook, learning new languages, reading, photography, interior design, and antiquing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Seen: Dunnottar Castle in Scotland, the Greek island of Santorini, the Blue Lagoon in Iceland...to name just a few! Done: enjoying a traditional hammam experience in Istanbul, WWOOFing in Southern France, reaching the top of Mount Pilatus in Switzerland for one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen.
