Growing up, I lived in 4 different countries, on 3 different continents before I was seven years old. My father worked as a chemical engineer in the oil field, so I grew up as an expat. Needless to say the term "home" was a bit of a fluid one in our household.

I've always had a hunger for travel, whether it was family holidays, school trips or most recently my own solo travels. I love getting exposed to new and foreign cultures, and experiencing as much as I can of life x

My brother. When Lloyd first started getting into backpacking five years ago, he couldn't stop going on about Couchsurfing. For him, CS was a way to experience a city through the eyes of a local.

Books: Last summer I got quite caught up with the Cormoran Strike detective novels by J.K. Rowling, Cuckoo's Calling, Silkworm, Career of Evil. So naturally I'm a big Harry Potter fan as well
