Difficult to make a selection, but here are a few films I like: A Seperation, Aimée und Jaguar, Monsieur Lazhar, Das Leben der anderen, The hours, Pina, As it is in heaven etc. etc. etc. :)
A few books that gave me good company lately: Entre Terre et Ciel, Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner and A thousand spendid suns, The Angel's game, La promesse de l'aube of the french author Romain Gary or of course Antoine de Saint Exupéry... Reading: also a nice way to explore the world.

Recently: the time in Dubai has been amazing. Made friends with people from everywhere, discovered a new job (journalist), the desert, the ocean, new food, colors, ways of thinking and living!

I travel with couchsurfing to really immerse in the everyday life of the countries I visit and the most important thing for me is meeting people and spending time with them. I try to fit into the routine of the host and offer what I can to be helpful.
