About Me

We are Fran and Cesar! a couple based in Buenos Aires (this account originally belonged to Cesar, but now Fran came in more than a year ago and we have happily adapted it)

Cesar: I was born in Jujuy — home to some of the most amazing landscapes in Argentina. After high school, I did a student exchange with Rotary International in Süßen, Germany. That experience sparked a lifelong love for travel — my life motto can be summed up now in one great german word: Wanderlust.

After returning to Argentina, I studied Veterinary Medicine in Córdoba and later completed a one-year university exchange in Murcia — a country I truly fell in love with . Once I graduated, I spent around six months working as a vet in Germany and another six months in Andorra during the winter season. Now I am back in Argentina, working as a small animal veterinarian, in a veterinary clinic.

Fran

Borned and raised in Buenos Aires. I met Cesar when Cesar treated my dog at the vet clinic :)

I have a degree in International Relations and have traveled to almost every province in Argentina (only three left to complete the list!). I was involved in politics for some time which also gave me the opportunity to travel to South America and specially to Venezuela. I work nowadays as a Project Manager.

I also lived for a year in Berlin, Germany. I love animals, fitness, traveling, and especially beach destinations. I like to paint (and art overall) as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We truly enjoy meeting new people and listening to their life stories. The world is huge, full of diverse experiences, and we believe we grow and mature through the connections we create while traveling.

We especially appreciate and feel most comfortable in LGBT-friendly spaces and with open-minded hosts. 🌈

For us this app is not just about accommodation — it’s about meaningful cultural exchange, shared meals and wine (why not!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately we’ve been listening to a lot of electronic music, mixed with different styles, especially Argentine folklore. If we stay at your place, we’d love to introduce you to folklore from Jujuy.

We also take mate everywhere we go to share some argie culture (its a sort of beverage).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We currently live together in a small house with a garden and we are raising a dog. Sharing everyday life and consciously trying to live in the present. This is quite something if you ask us.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cesar has not approve this message but I am sure he can give free veterinary tips if you have a doggy or a cat. Sorry Cesar if you read this before out trip hah.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mate trinken, good conversations, board games, we can also cook (Cesar is more of Pastas and Fran of meat) we are very money conscious so we will make out best to contribute as much as we can.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Morocco, Netherlands, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United States
