Its not about where you start, its where you finish. Be there, get out there! I believe it is our own fears who frightens ourselves the most, couchsurfing is just another of many options with which we can free ourselves from our fears and get out there and discover not only the world and its beauty and diversity, not only amazing people with different cultural backgrounds, knowledge, and histories.
