About Me

Hi! I'm originally from Venezuela, currently living in Santiago de Chile since 2015. I'd describe myself as organized, optimistic, and introverted — someone who enjoys the simple things in life and tries to live with a minimalist mindset.

My hobbies have changed over the years, but some of the ones that stick with me are hiking (which has taken me to some incredible places), playing padel, biking, meditation, watching movies, learning English, and lately, diving deeper into topics related to my work.

I love meeting people from different cultures. Seeing the world from other perspectives is something I find fascinating and deeply enriching. I’m always open to good conversations and shared experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use Couchsurfing both in Santiago and when I travel. In Santiago, I enjoy meeting travelers, showing them around, sharing local tips, and practicing my English.

When I travel, I love to meet with locals — it helps me experience places in a more real and personal way. Every experience I’ve had through Couchsurfing has been unique and meaningful.

Interests

I'm all about daytime activities and being outdoors — especially when surrounded by nature. Cultural experiences are great too, and maybe a little of nightlife.

Places I dream of visiting: Japan, Iceland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music, but I have a soft spot for electropop.

I enjoy watching movies from all genres.

As for books, I don’t read as much as I’d like to (working on it!), but when I do, I gravitate toward self-help and personal growth topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve been lucky to visit some countries and each place had its own unique charm. I find it fascinating to notice the contrasts between cultures and how every country has something different to teach.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn how to cook some simple local dishes from other cultures.

I’m not an expert in padel, but I can definitely teach the basics and share some tips. I’m also happy to talk about mindfulness, tech stuff, or even show you some of my favorite walking spots in Santiago.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a clean, respectful, and easygoing guest. I always try to adapt to house rules and take good care of the space I'm staying in. I'm happy to have meaningful conversations, cook you some delicious Venezuelan arepas, share a bit of my culture, or even help you practice your Spanish.

If you're into padel or want to try it, I’d love to show you the basics. I always aim to bring positive energy and be a good presence in every home I’m welcomed into.
