About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet more people from everywhere.

ABOUT ME

Im originally from Malaysia, the land of some amazing beaches. Ever since I was young, I wanted to travel. I remember my first plane ride, it was beautiful. Now, I've had the chance. My work has brought me to many places, many travel locations which Im glad for sure. I've also lived in China, San Diego, London, Singapore, Ohio and Manila for brief periods of time. This is a dream really,to be in Melbourne now. I was called to be here indefinitely and looks to me I'll settle down here maybe. But before that I would want to see everything, and live a little.I love dogs as well! I have two of them in my home country.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel life is short and we must make the best of it. Suppose you had 40 more years to live, that would give you just over 2000 weekends. Use it well, live your life.. This life isn't permanent, there's no time for being angry, sad and dissapointed. Once you fall, make time for grief and then step up and walk again.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet more people, have activities together. Learn, laugh and excite each other. Being new in Melbourne, I would need to network more. I play volleyball, wall climbed recently, I'm cool for outdoor activities, taking a drive somewhere maybe. Maybe plan some short trips to some nearby locations.I just bought a brand new car!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to join the CS meetings in Singapore. Never really hosted or surfed before, as I never had time. But the CS events did bring me to meet some fun folks, looking forward for my first!

Interests

Photography, beach, coffee, chit chatting, volleyball, roller blading, shopping for sales, making short trips, meeting new people, movies, music concerts, formula 1, hiking, walking aimlessly in the city and discovering new stuff.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I've walked on the streets of India and there was a sudden flash flood, I was there in London when the tubes blew up, we were just at kings cross, I've driven from San Diego to Las Vegas on a 4.2 liter car, almost ran out of fuel as we were speeding, I've been to Paris to see people singing on the streets there. I've lived shanghai- a city that remains very close to heart, I've shot a AK47 before in Vietnam. I've stayed in one of those ancient villages in China with over 1300 years of history. I've scuba dived in Malaysia, where we have beautiful corals and warm waters. When in California, we were racing illegally from LA to San Diego and got pulled over by the cops, scary but was definitely a good experience. I've swam with sharks, baby ones in Malaysia. I've walk in the narrow tunnels in Vietnam, the cuci tunnels. Really thought i was gonna die there.
