ABOUT ME

Above all I like to learn, laugh, and have fun. My friends say I am a laid back person on a mission. I'm pretty open to a lot of things even if its outside of my comfort zone, yet I have a good idea of what I like and don't like.

I used to live in LA but now im in NYC.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm fascinated by decisions and their impact on the lives on others. I live my life one decision at a time. I have my own set of values that help me make those decisions, and I respect that others may have differing values. Life has taught me there are times to be flexible and that there are somethings you never compromise on.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a lot of surfers with my roommate and I've been a surfer myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a quite a few people in LA with my roommate and its been an amazing experience that's created a lot of great memories.

I'm in NY now with the same roommate and we're still hosting people.

兴趣

I'm interested in good conversation, great experiences, and adventure...oh and space. I like going out to new restaurants and bars in my area. When I'm not doing that I like playing board games, watching TV, and reading.

I read a lot and have the books to prove it: classics, sci-fi, non-fiction, fiction, humor, comics, I just like a good story.

I love movies and TV shows. I've seen a lot of good shows like Law and Order, Modern Family, Community, Suits, Southland, Homeland, Firefly, and I'm always open to suggestions for other shows.

I recently started listening to music everyday. I like most kinds of music and some of my favorites are jazz, blues, soul, funk, hip hop, and rock. Again, I'm always looking for suggestions, send me your favorite album, artists, or songs and I'll give it a try.

I love good food! I like to try out new restaurants and bars in the area. I've also been known to cook a meal or two.

Watching the sunset in Ushuia, Argentina (the southern most city in the world). Pure beauty as the sun disappeared over the edge of the world taking with it all of my worries and cares.

Hiking at dawn in the Andes mountains towards Machu Picchu. I remember the moment when the sunrise broke over the mountains and illuminated the valley. As light spread and pushed the darkness back into the shadows you could feel nature waking up, ready to display its beauty for another day.
