I'm An adventurer at heart. Sometimes finding adventure means trucking halfway across the world, putting down roots in the country not my own, and delving into the culture, the language, and the people that I'm surrounded by.

Sometimes that adventure simply means learning to cook something exotic or striking up a conversation with a stranger at the bar. Whenever it looks like, I'm ready for it.

I travel on my own quite a bit, and I'm interested in meeting kindred spirits in the places, cities especially, where I end up. At the same time, I love to open up my home to others whether the need is a bed for the night or community that lasts a liftetime.

My love of other cultures has brought me short-term and long-term roommates from Iran, Japan, and Czechia with hopefully more to come!

Música, películas y libros

I love all sorts of music and pretty much love live music no matter who is making it. I also love mixtapes... or whatever today's version of that is. I like having a window into what someone I know and care about is listening to or loving... and I find some of my absolute favorites that way.

I will almost always have a book on me or in my ear and enjoy everything from classic lit to non-fiction to fantasy.

I moved to Italy on my own immediately after paying off my student loans, and spent a year teaching in a small English-speaking school for immigrants from developing countries. It was the best year of my life.
