About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore and open my horizons to the wonder of the world and its inhabitants...and to welcome in anyone whom needs a couch or a guide
ABOUT ME
I have a good sense of humor and often find that it's more suited in the company of men than of women. I enjoy trying new things out such as skydiving and possibly swimming with sharks. I believe that life should be lived with no regrets which does not mean that it should be lived recklessly or without accepting responsibility or consequences, but one that you actively live out and pursue versus just exist. I would have to say that besides my rebellious streak, I am well grounded and have a high standard of loyalty and a strong sense of caring for those around me. I'm more forward than sometimes is appropriate, but can not live with myself if I was not sincere and honest, even if it is sometimes to a fault. There is definitely a strong rebellious, mischievous side to me. You've been warned. *smirk*
PHILOSOPHY
Personal philosophy is: It is not enough to merely exist.
I don't believe in sugar-coating or hiding anything as it seems more like a ploy to manipulate a situation or person or as though you can not share your thoughts or opinions with another individual. I don't see the reason to waste someone else's time by not really trying to understand or to know the other person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love opening up my home and heart to those exploring this side of the world. I hosted couch surfers and hopefully I can explore other corners of the world and meet new people and experience new wonders when I couch surf.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
New to this community, but hope to have numerous experiences under my belt soon. I've hosted couch surfers but definitely will keep this project in mind when I travel, particularly when I travel due to disaster response.
Interests
My personal passions tend to encompass helping others, including animals. I therefore am most passionate about finding a position or role in which I can utilize all my experiences and skills to contribute to the benefit of others, particularly domestic animals. I've been involved in disaster animal rescue and response and keep that element prevalent in my life.
I relish new experiences such as skydiving, participating in disaster animal rescue and response, snowboarding, skydiving, exploring new sights, exploring new types of food, meeting new people, and having unique and fresh experiences. I soon hope to swim with sharks.
