Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn about the world and its people. To better understand cultures and then share that information widely. Understanding generates peace and goodwill, and I'm into that.
ABOUT ME
There are many things that are out of our control, so when bad things happen (or good ones too) we should just go with the flow, grow and learn from the challenging opportunity at hand, and try not to get too ruffled about it. I am excited about learning and experienceing different philosophies. I think a well informed, yet humble mind is very valuable. It's important to know what you know but even more important to know what you do not. I am forever a student, always learning. I hope to master some things in my life, but for now I am just an eager apprentice.
PHILOSOPHY
Love is very important. As is forgiveness and compassion, for yourself and others. Being too hard on oneself is nearly always counterproductive. It takes hard work and diligence, but anything is possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Yes. I like it all. I've been reading a lot recently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I have done was a pilgrimage to the sacred mountain Kawagebo on the border between China and Tibet in Yunnan province. This intensely challenging, wonderful, spiritual experience is one of the toughest things I have done, and it has fundamentally changed who I am. It also helped to define my spiritual connection to mountains and has put my definitively on the path that I now walk.
