ABOUT ME

I have been in Asheville for five years now, having lived in Portland, Oregon for a short time before coming here. Other places I have called home include St. Augustine, FL, Gainesville, FL, and St. Louis, MO. I am currently working full-time at a nonprofit organization. Specific areas of interest include social justice, education, social research, and sustainable development.

Some things I enjoy include being outside, listening to live music, cooking, doing yoga, and connecting with people. I consider myself to be easy-going, as well as relatively reserved. I value solitude but also really appreciate being around good people.

I have couchsurfed in many places in Austria and Switzerland and have had nothing but great experiences. I've also had the pleasure of hosting people both in Asheville, North Carolina and in Gainesville, Florida.
