About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm currently trying to find an amazing beach to visit. Any suggestions?

ABOUT ME

I spend the majority of my time tutoring, mentoring, and teaching Bible studies to children. In my spare time at home I enjoy going to the lake, the coffee shop, and the bookstore. When I travel, I enjoy hiking, swimming, touring, learning other cultures, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Jesus Christ lived his life in complete love and service to others and I aim to live in the same way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If anyone is coming to my neck of the woods in Nacogdoches, Tx, I'd be happy to show them around! I'm brand new here and not quite sure how else to get involved, so if you have any ideas, let me know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far.

Interests

I'm interested in traveling, reading, giving animals a foster home, working with kids, and telling people about Jesus.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It's a beautiful depiction of what God's love for us looks like and the way we should love eachother.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to go on a couple different mission trips to Mexico and I was completely taken aback by the huge generosity that these completely impoverished people have for people they don't even know. Most of the people that I met and became friends with lived in crudely constructed mud and stick huts and had hardly anything to their name. What amazed me was that the little that they had they were quick and incredibly happy to share with us.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have plenty of learning of my own to still do but if there's piece of knowledge I could empart, it would be that no matter what the question or problem is, love is usually the right answer.
