Hi. My name is Carla. I am a high school English teacher who took very early retirement to travel some more. Half the year long, I work for pennies at a seasonal holistic center. I sometimes teach yoga or tutor ACT/SAT online. I love traveling to places with food and drinks and I LOVE hiking and getting to know people as I go.

I love people and travel. Even in my most prosperous years, when I've traveled to places where I could afford the nicest hotel rooms, I've chosen (some dodgy accidentally) hostels. I've met so many awesome folks. I was late to start traveling but now that I have, I don't want to stop. When I was a HS teacher, I advise my students to travel as much as they can.

兴趣

I love hiking. I am very interested in anything I haven't learned yet. I love yoga and dance. Music and live shows are great. I even like Magic the Gathering! I am truly a curious person who likes to try things other people other passionate about.

I went to Ireland alone and rented a car and then drove to the other side of the country, with no GPS, no radio, reverse side of the road, and left handed stickshift. It was... living on the wild side. After a dozen near misses, I ended up at this beautiful place called the Burren. Never saw anything like that landscape and earth. I was so humbled and alive.
