ABOUT ME

I have been living in Nanchang, China for 6 years. I enjoy experiencing the more personal, everyday, and even mundane aspects of the places I visit to get a feel for the way people live and interact with each other normally. I'm not a big drinker but like to have a good time on the town. I have a strong Christian background but love being challenged in my thinking.

PHILOSOPHY

I think we are all here for a reason and that we were created for love. We usually mistake that for comfort or pleasure. Love is essentially sacrifice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm in my last month of life in China for at least a year and have lots of friends to say goodbye to which means I'll be hosting a lot of parties and having my friends over for the last few times so I will not be hosting much until I get back to the US.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Usually use hostels so I'm new to this but looking forward to connecting with new people in a more personal way. I've never had couchsurfers visit my place but my friends have so I have a feel for how it works.

Interests

Sports including basketball, frisbee, volleyball, ping pong...I'll play almost anything. The same goes for board games or card games. I love games. I enjoy a wide variety of rock music, watching movies, and reading books (mostly fiction).
