我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

First, I don't understand what's the point of travel if you don't meet local people. I am not checked-into-xyz-hotel-and-came-back type traveler; I love to travel and live like the locals (public transport/hitchhiking what so ever) and couchsurfing is the best place to do this.

Second, I believe only local people can best guide you and provide all the latest information about an area. So if someone can't host/surf (and it's perfectly fine with me!) I always value the advice given.

Lastly, I've found some really amazing people through traveling and this site who later on became great friends of mine. Perhaps this is 'THE' reason to come back to this site again and again.

Favorite books are too many to list. I read mostly non-fiction and history.
Sometimes I do watch but not very much into movies and music. Pakistani Sufi music maestros like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Pathany Khan, Noor Jahan and some other ocassionaly.
