Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One happy surfing in Italy.
I didn't host much myself through CS, but I often welcome people in my couch.
It is part of my education, and I also travel through my frinds's network.

Interests

- Collective intelligence and Non-violence: moving towards conflict with Restorative Circles, managing projects with Dragon Dreaming.

- Photography: I love it more and more. Also interested in video and sound production.

- Music: playing west-african rhythms (dundun and djembe). Also learning how to play afro-cuban (congas) and oriental (darbuka).
I like happy crazy improvisations of any kind.
Festivals, concerts, partying.

- Sports: Not a huge sportsman, but I love outdoor activities: roller-skating, skiing, paragliding, walking, cycling.

- Well-being: Meditation, Soft martial arts (shintaïdo), Spirituality. Communicating more consciously with NonViolent Communication.

- Gaming: I play more and more board games with family and friends. I like to read about the video-gaming industry, and from time to time I even play on my PC, xbox360 or Wii.

- Traveling, as much as I can, even close to my home. It's just amazing how people can be different and think different.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: World-fusion, Jazz, Electro, Classic...
Hadouk Trio, Radio Tarifa, Zero7, Bebo Baldés, Cesárea Evora, Famoudou Konate, Chopin, Gainsbourg, Moby, Coldplay, Manu Chao, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Chic Corea, and so many others.

Movies: Coen Brothers, Jeunet & Caro, Clint Eastwood, Woody Allen, Almodovar, Kusturica, Tarantino, Chaplin... I watch lots of movies, from various countries. No TV at home, but a home-theater.

Books: I don't read that much, but I enjoy romance, sci-fi and spirituality.
And I love french comics!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Raggae-tour in remote villages in Yunnan (China) with a chinese band (I did some drumming and lots of pictures)
- Backpacking through India and Pakistan (Karakurum Highway was amazing!)
