ABOUT ME

Kon- nichiwaaa and Salut fellow couch surfers and world wanderers!
I was born on the Big Island (Hawaii island) in Hawaii. However, when I was still a baby my family moved to Japan and it was in Tokyo that I spent my childhood living in downtown Tokyo near Shinjuku. I grew up speaking English at home and Japanese with friends. My parents thought it would be a good idea for me to learn Chinese so from first grade to ninth grade I attended a Chinese school in Tokyo, learning Japanese and Chinese, for Highschool I went to an International American school in Tokyo, where I studied to get into a University in Los Angeles to study film. After 6 years of living in LA and Hollywood trying to make films and get into the movie business, I decided to move back to Japan, the country that I cared about the most. I now work at Japan's Public Broadcaster NHK World as a Director/producer in the world news dept.

I live in Yokohama on the Denentoshi line!

Making Films and creating art that express how we see the world around us. Meeting new people who can teach us about parts of the world that we have never been to.

Música, películas y libros

I like Wes Anderson's movies, especially Rushmore. The royal tanenbaums, darjeling limited, life aquatic, Budapest Hotel.
And I'm a huge craft fan. The pubs offering craft beer in Tokyo are increasing all the time.
