I am a film student with an interesting in writing and editing for film. I love music and compose musicals of my own, video games, movies, theater and musical theater, and coffee. I am biracial with an Asian mother and European father so nobody can ever guess my background. I am very open minded and enthusiastic about new experiences. My goal in life is to somehow push the world towards greater equality and acceptance of all races, ethnicity, religions, sexual orientations, and genders.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel both internationally and nationally to gain perspective on the greater world and the people who inhabit it. I want to experience new things and meet new people I would never meet without getting out of my own comfort zone.

My favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. My favorite types of music are Musical Theater soundtracks and Chill Indie Pop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the summer, I write and direct 8 thirty minute original plays and one musical for the camp I work at. I'm in charge of the drama camp which is made up of 6 to 20 middle schoolers aged 10 to 13. It is my favorite part of the year and the most fulfilling experience I could ask for.

I can teach hosts how to make Malaysian Curry, basic music theory and singing technique.
I want to learn how to make new dishes, any history (national, family), as well as personal stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share food and cooking advice. I am also very good at doing housework and helping clean. I can share stories and books and movie recommendations as well as music.
