About Me
Before sending out request:
If you want to be rejected, do NOT read "my home".
For those read “my home”:
Can’t guarantee I m available to host, but appreciation would be given for sure.
Only host surfers with reference. And staying for 2 nights is preferred.
You have to walk up over 300 staircases to reach my place and cannot stay in my place after I leave. Surfer also needs to enter the estate with me because of the security guard.
My estate is under renovation so the outer wall is covered with green net.
** I got work almost 5.5days per week, plz return before 1030pm and let me know your return time in advance so that I cld reserve time to pick you up because there is security guard downstairs.
I'm good with hanging out if there's time available.

****Apps****
- "Google Maps" and "Google Translate" should handle most of the needs.
- (Optional) "MTR Mobile" and "App1933 - KMB‧LWB" provide estimated arrival times for metro trains and buses.
- (Optional) "yuu HK Macau": A rewards app — you earn 1 point for every 1 HKD spent. Cashiers at some chain stores may ask if you have it when you make a purchase. Points can be redeemed after accumulating hundreds or thousands of them, such as 100 point plus 20HKD for a congee or 4000 points plus 30 for a meal costing 50HKD originally. (local mobile number needed for account registration). The rewards varies depends on the promotion period.
****Eateries****
- "OpenRice" is a local website for checking user reviews, menus and prices.
****Hostel****
- "Google" is helpful for searching. Tsim Sha Tsui and nearby areas likely offer the cheapest options.
****SIM Card****
- No specific recommendations — most providers have good coverage in Hong Kong (I think). Rare issues may only arise near the mainland border or at high-altitude, remote area.
****Transport from the Airport****
- Bus or metro are both good options.
****Bus pass****
- Metro tourist ticket: https://www.mtr.com.hk/en/customer/tickets/day_pass_tourist.html
- Bus tourist day pass: https://www.kmb.hk/touristdaypass.html
- Octopus Card is widely used for public transport, can be returned to get a deposit refund, and it gives a few cents discount on metro fares. Alipay can be used to in metro and some buses.
