I'm both a musician and an engineer. I've been lucky enough to be able to travel when I want to, but I'm finding my travel bug growing ever bigger.

If you are requesting to stay with me, please note:
- I don't host anyone under 21. Sorry, but there are many other options for you in San Francisco that are probably more your pace. Try one of the downtown hostels.
- I don't allow guests to stay in the house without me (so if I'm going to work, you will need to leave when I do), though you can leave whatever you need at my place while you're out
- If you send a request to stay, please put "MUSIC" at the top of the message to help filter out mass-requests

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have stayed with many hosts in the past while on tour as a musician (both through CouchSurfing and in my social communities), and I like giving back. I find that the CS community tends to be incredibly creative, interesting, and exploratory, and I always want more of that in my life.

I am especially looking to host creatives (musicians, artists, photographers, etc).

Interests

Music is my main passion. I might be found at one of the many music jam sessions in San Francisco, performing my own music at an event, or in the studio working on new songs.

I used to be an avid dancer. For blues, tango, swing, or even fusion dancing, San Francisco has a lot to offer both experienced dancers as well as beginners. I don't go out dancing as much these days due to other interests, but I am sometimes willing to accompany people to a dance event if I have time.

I'm also really into sustainable hedonism in my lifestyle. If you don't know what that means, just ask!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I'm contacting you as a possible guest, it probably means I'm on tour. If so, then I will most likely have some interesting stories of music life. I'll also have my violin with me - so I would be excited to have a mini-jam session if you're a musician as well, or I can even share a few songs if you'd just like to listen.
