Friendly, fun, genuine "inglés" with a great sense of humour, starting a new chapter of my life in Lima, Peru. Always have a smile on my face, love to laugh and try not to take lifep too seriously. I am a great friend. Love to eat...and eat...and.......eat! Hence the name...chancho-ingles! ;o)

PHILOSOPHY

You only get one life. Live it! Love it! Having spent time in some developing countries now, materialistic things are unimportant to me now. Do we REALLY have any reason to worry, when clearly there are always people far worse off...

If anyone wants any information on my country England or any other countries that I have visited/lived in, please let me know. When I am England and if at all possible, I will be happy to host you there. Wherever I am in this world, I will be happy to host if there is room.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two years ago I did my first couchsurf with some of the most amazing people I have met in my life. They are like my Peruvian family now. My second surf was equally amazing in Asunción(GABI!!! SOS UNA LEYENDA Y NUNCA ME VOY A OLVIDAR DE TU HOSPITALIDAD!!!). All in all, these have been some of the best experiences of my life. Couchsurfing - a great invention, like eggs and yerba mate! :o)

Musica, film e libri

Hip Hop!!! Never have time for movies or for reading, although I am TRYING to study towards the DELE advanced spanish certificate. Or should I just be certified to a mental institution? Sometimes I read the washing labels on my underwear, if that counts as reading? Right now, I have my head in some English teaching books to prepare myself for new projects in Lima.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

For years, one of my dreams was to see Machu Picchu. We can do anything in our life, so I did! Amazing place and so awe inspiring. Brings a tear to my eye everytime I recall sitting on a grassy terrace looking at that famous view. Ecuador was an amazing country for me and I will take much inspiration from it, for my future. And Paraguay...wooowww!!!...It has taught me about chipa, tereré, mate and delicious cows.

I am a Cambridge certified English teacher, so I am happy to offer help with English...in exchange for help with my spanish of course! Nothing is free in this world!!! Hehehe! It is also my aim to learn something new everyday, and it is a pleasure to pass on my knowledge. However, because of inflation, I need to make a new price list. :D
