My name is Chandler, and I recently graduated from University. I had a dream of being a doctor, but recently realized it isn't for me. So now, I'm trying to find myself by traveling and gaining new experiences. I'm open-minded, easygoing and always looking for new friends.

I'm on Couchsurfing because there's nothing better than exploring local places with an actual local. It makes travelling easier and more personal, and you really get a feel for new places. I like to share my piece of the world, and show off all it has to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was well past midnight, pitch black, as I kayaked through mangrove trees in the Puerto Rican river. As I went on for over an hour, my oar and bottom of the kayak began to glow a bright blue-until we made it to the bay where everything around was looked like it was made up of the phosphorescent liquid of a glow stick. Spending time in this bay, hearing the “coqui” of the native frogs was a defining moment in my life, and I’m trying to chase that feeling for as long as I’m here.
