ABOUT ME
Hello!
I'm Po-Kai, or you can call me "Kai".
I grew up in the central part of Taiwan, Taichung. I've lived and studied in Tainan and Kaohsiung.
I just quit my job two weeks ago, and I'm thinking about traveling and meeting people from different countries.
I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching movies, traveling, and trying new things. Sometimes my friends would be surprised by the things I did. That's why my friends always say that I'm an adventurous and daring doer.
Most importantly, I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.
Therefore, I have been enjoying traveling around.
PHILOSOPHY
"Life as an experiment." I got this idea from one of the TED talk speakers. I think there are a lot to explore and experiment on in my life.
"Stay hungry, stay foolish!", one of my favorite quotes from Steve Jobs. These words linger over my mind after I watched it and I still think it's a good motto that I should stick to. That's why I would like to learn from different people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to be part of this couch surfing community.
I'm willing and eager to participate in any local events or be a host for some of you who are interested in visiting Taiwan, especially my hometown, Taichung.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was awesome. I met a lot of wonderful hosts in my last trip. They were in Trondheim, Bergen and Oslo in Norway. I also met a really interesting and nice host in Bangkok, Thailand. I'm expecting to meet more awesome couchsurfers. :)
