About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To sleep in or on a couch, not a car!

ABOUT ME

My name is John, and I'm traveling the midwest and east coast with my band, Rabbit Rabbit. We're three dudes and a lil' yorkie, and we're all really stoked to be touring to new cities in states we've never been to! But unfortunately the challenge with being somewhere new is finding a comfortable and warm place to sleep. So we are trying to use couchsurfing to compliment our tour, so we may find new friends and places to crash in new places!

PHILOSOPHY

Have fun, be healthy, stay positive, enjoy the moment, Do something!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled with couchsurfing by myself about a year ago, and had a great time staying at places and meeting people. I want to use my past CSing experience to find new couches and be a good guest!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At my old house, there had been at least 20+ CSers who stayed at our community (not MY CSers always), and they all had nothing but positive feedback. Always courteous guests, always willing to contribute, and always very grateful, i have not had a negative experience yet.

Interests

Playing in my band! Seeing new places! Meetin new people! Havin a blast! Doin' anythang!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: The Big Lebowski. Only The Big lebowski.

Music: I love all types of music. My band plays some catchy pop-n-roll music.
Books: Anything by Herman Hesse, Islands in the Stream by E. Hemmingway, Eating Animals by J. Frazier (?), to name a few

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing trip I've taken has been to work with a service adventure group in the Caribbean island of Dominica, during my junior-senior summer of high-school (09'). I have a few pictures of it on my profile, but no pictures can capture the amazing scenery, the generous people, the vibrant culture, and the overpowering love of that island. The island provides; mango, starfruit, breadfruit, all picked from the tree in your back yard. One day, when I'm tired of it all, Im taking a machete to Dominica, clearing out a plot of land, and living on it. Im not the only who has done it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to juggle! Or unicycle? I know how to cook at least a few vegan dishes. I need some good books to read, if you have any suggestions?
