My name is Chan. I Originate from a well known tourist attraction in Vietnam(Hoi An). Growing up within the ancient town showed me how beautiful and jubilant life could be meeting people from all places and walks of life. I know those who travel to rest from hectic daily schedule; I know those who travel to find a new home; and most interestingly those who travel because they simply cant and wont stop.
In the past 6 years since my departure from home to America, I have regretably lived only with my academic ambition in mind and it has devoid me of much that I have always wished for, to land in every ocean port city in the world. Why ocean port you ask? Perhaps it is because I have always love the "City with the Ocean view" where I grew up and cant stand the fact that 6 years was more than enough for nature to change everything I love about it.
Now, after much have changed and some that I wished had not, Im determined to do what I have always set out to and travel the worlds Ocean banks (Jul 2016)

I consider myself a very open and optimistic person. I would love to try new things and help people at it if I can. Im sure it must not be entirely convenient to suddenly receive a complete stranger into your home. But I see opportunity to meet and get to know others too, and thats what motivate me to reach out through traveling.
