I'm very interested in true human connection. It's super important to me. A great sign that it's happening are those really long conversations about anything and everything and staying up way too late and not realizing it because the conversation is so good. The cool thing about this app is that it tends to facilitate interactions like that, and I seem to find them here consistently. Some of the people that I'm closest with are people that I met via Couchsurfing.

I'm very silly. I love bad dad jokes, pranks, games, and just being a goof. I do everything that there is to do in the mountains and love sharing them with visitors. Want to hike, climb, ski, or run together? Awesome. And I love cooking, good beer, and good wine. I will almost certainly cook for you or take you out for dinner if we get together. Some of the best experiences I have had on Couchsurfing have been at local spots where we have eaten amazing food and drank lots of good beer or wine.

I'm extremely open-minded, curious, interested in different cultures and learning, and a bit of a weird combo of super chill and intense.

I really enjoy quality fiction. My favourite book is probably The Sisters Brothers. I like all sorts of movies too. Deadpool is a front runner. One of the best compliments I ever got was: “It's like you wrote it!”
