About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a graduate student at the University of Ottawa and will be over the next three years. I am working towards becoming a professor in experimental psychology. I am a very philosophical person who is willing to discuss or debate just about any issue. I love the outdoors, sports and staying active. I feel this makes me an energetic upbeat optimistic person. I like to think of myself as adventurous and always willing to try new experiences. I am open minded and considerate of others. I am a playful person who likes to joke around and have fun!
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live. Everyone is unique yet the same. We all have dreams, we all sneak happiness, we all need love and we all consider trust to be of utmost importance to any relationship.
I am here not to live for myself but to be part of Nature, which includes humanity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Admittedly I am currently more of a surfer than a couch provider. Once I have my own place and couch then it will be open to all well referenced and interesting travelers! I hope my empty profile is not underwhelming. I am new to the site but not to the CS philosophy!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The CS community to me is a cross-cultural community spanning the world made through the generous hearts of hosts and curious minds of travelers. Trust and openness are the best characteristics which describe this community. I hope to one day be part of something so beautiful.
Interests
Travelling is something I have recently gotten into and have fallen in love with. Meeting new people and experiencing new cultures is an excitement I have found to be like no other. Seeing our planets varying forms of beauty is at once humbling and overwhelming.
Outdoor activities allow me to have fun and stay active while in beautiful surroundings. Learning a new sport is always exciting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am not a religious person but visiting Vatican City was an overwhelming experience for me. I never knew a structure could be so grand.
I spent a month and a half in Thailand and Cambodia and this was my first time experiencing a very different culture. It was amazing and definitely humbling. North Americans have a sort of narcissism about themselves when it comes to their world view and going to South East Asia made me realize how much my conception of the world was missing.
I spent a month in California and this experience changed my conception of Americans. Albeit, California is a unique state, but I am now interested in travelling around the states. I found Americans to work hard and play hard, there was always something interesting going on culturally while surrounded by the immense natural beauties of the state. I spent a week in Yosemite National Park and it was probably the closest thing to how I would conceive heaven.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone has a reason to every choice and every choice is made to allow the least inconvenience to people. Just because you were inconvenienced does not mean you would not have made that same choice had you been in that persons position. Everyone is trying to live their life, sometimes that involves bumping into eacho ther. You can either choose to perceive this as an opportunity or an inconvenience.
