Yes, germany is the beer country with the big oktoberfest and the guys in leatherpants (I am not from this area where they wear that) and yes, we dont have a speed limit on our highways :D

2014 I left germany and headed to the us to work there as an aupair and of course to travel there as much as possible. I lived in california but I also saw plenty of other places in the us. Since that time I cant stop traveling. There are so many places I want to visit all over the world its just incredible...

I really like the idea about meeting new people from all over the world.
I love to travel and I think you can see a lot of more interesting places with people who know the area. I think its just more authentic. Furthermore I think its really interesting to talk and hang out with people you would never meet without couchsurfing. And of course its also very cool that you are able to stay at someones house for free.
If you understand the concept of CS you are able do make unforgettable memories. Its just awesome!
