ABOUT ME

During my last year of high school, pressure of deciding on what I want to do for the rest of my life pressed down on me and I decided to rather take a gap year to explore the rest of the world before continuing with any studies. I've never travelled before and Au Pairing seemed to be the best option, because I both love working with children and it enables me to travel through Europe. I want to travel to as many countries as I possibly can with my free time and saved money. I like exploring new p[laces and learning of art, architecture and history. I also like meeting people from other countries and have made a lot of friends through sites like tumblr, but I would love making friends with people from other countries in real life too.

PHILOSOPHY

A lot of times in my life I have been unhappy with situations I have been in, and one day I decided to do everything in my power to become happy. If there is something you really want to do, do it. If it made you happy, keep doing it and if it did't, then just don't do it again.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm planning a few trips in the next few months or so, and am looking for hosts in Paris; France
Venice, Florence & Rome; Italy
Prague; Czech Republic.

I currently live in someone else's house as I'm an Au Pair, so I unfortunately cannot host anyone at the moment.

I am interested in art (creating my own and appreciating those of others), architecture, history, fashion and I also really like a few sports such as Formula 1, Moto GP, Football, Rugby and Cricket (Blame my dad for raising me like I'm a boy).

I enjoy any and all music that I consider "good", which I know is very bad answer. I would say that I find myself listening to Alternative, Indie and Folk the most.

I'm a book worm and so I have a LOT of favourite books. I even have an account on goodreads.com, where I have a list of favourites (which actually needs updating...)

I must admit, I don't watch a lot of tv and I don't have too much time to go to the cinemas, but any movie where I don't fall asleep within the first 20 minutes is a good one!

Moved closed to 6000 miles away from home on my own after High school, coincidentally also being the first time I even left my home country.
