About Me

CURRENT MISSION

looking at the little special things in life

ABOUT ME

Hi guys!

My name is Chanthal, 36 years old and I traveled a lot, especially to Latin America and the Caribbean area (Ecuador, Peru, Suriname, French Guyana, Curacao, Aruba, Cuba, St. Martin, Martinique, Key West, Bonaire, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Panama). I like the Spanish language and the Latin American culture (music, people, dance).

I graduated in Theology and now work as a chaplain. In the past I studied social work and I worked a couple of years in the field. Also I studied religious studies (I like to know more about other cultures and religions).

I like listening to music (spanish music, latin, dutch music (guus meeuwis), R&B, dance, poprock), languages (I studied Biblical Hebrew and New Testament Greek. In the future I want to improve my Spanish and German) and hang out with friends (watching a movie, having a drink, etc.).

In the past I danced merengue, salsa and bachata and I also did some courses in pole dancing. If you can show me some other dances: would be nice! Also I play the guitar although it is a long time ago that I played it.
People now see me more a a sportive girl than as a dancing girl. I like to do weight training, kettle bell exercises, spinning classes and boot camp.

PHILOSOPHY

See the small things in life like leaves which are falling down, a bird who is singing his song, people who are smiling. Those things will make life easier and happier!
If you are sending me a request, write something about your philosophy. I like to know what you think!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to have good conversations about religion, politics, history, traveling experiences, languages (and learn new ones!). I also love to show you around in my beautiful city Nijmegen :)

My first CS experience was in Sevilla and I met a really nice girl named Nataly. After this experience it is tasting for more!!
