Hello there! I'm Chanya. I'm 21 years old. I came from Thailand. I'm studying french language at my university and now I'm an exchange student for 10 months at Caen, France. I'm easygoing and like to learn new thing and place. I'm smiley and very patient ;) I'm kinda optimistic cause I really believe that every things has the reason behind its own. I'm quiet shy and sometimes taciturn in some situations but normally I'm a happy girl! xD
Frace is my first countrythat I've visited in my life. I have never traveled abroad before. Here, in France, it was like I discovered a new world. I just realized that the world is so much bigger than I thought. It's the beginning that I want to travel around the world. I want to see so many amazing, strange, beautiful things/places with my own eyes. Also, knowing new people is a great learning too. For me, traveling and getting to know new people is something we can't experience by just reading books or surfing internet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've a host family in Caen. My host mom tell me to search on this website when I told her that I want to travel. It is my first time for this website, so I'm very exciting about my new experience that will coming soon x)
The idea to stay at someone's house who is locals of that place is more interesting than stay at hotel and travel on my own. I think that I could have some tips for travelling more than the guide book can offer. Moreover, I would like to know and become friend with as many people as I can! ;D

Interests

Of course, travelling! and of course, for a girl like me, the most favorite thing in the world is eating!
Also, I study language cause it's my interest too. Not just English or French, I would like to learn as many language as I can.
Cute animals is something that I can't resist! (lol) I loveee animals.
I'm kinda a bookworm. But I don't like to read a serious thing. For me, romantic, comedy or fantasy novels are my favorite.
I also like watching Korean's series.
The most favorite thing for me is Music. I love all kind of music, especially sad song in English, Thai and Korean.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I said, I LOVE music! I can listen to all kind of music ;) Anyway, my favorite music is depend on mood. I like novel books, such as Harry Potter, Twilight, Fifty shades of Grey, The fault in our stars, etc. I'm not a big fan of movie but I like almost all of Disney's films ;D Even I'm already 20 but I still have interest in a thing like a child xD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is becoming an exchange student and being able to live in France. I know that I grew up so much since I'm coming here. I've never had so much interest in travel before. I can say that it's the best decision I've ever made! And also, become a member of this site is amazing too. ;D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share or teach all of my knowledge, especially about Thailand.
I love to learn the new thing~ so I'm interested to lear anything my host would like to share ;D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my travel or life experience even I know that I'm still young and didn't have that much, but I'm glad to share it if someone would like to. ;) I can teach my language for some basic word and I love eating, so I can cook some Thai foods for my host(s) too. xD
