ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Chanya and you can call me Grace :) I'm 21, from Bangkok, Thailand and I am doing my Bachelor's degree in the sunny island of Singapore. I move a lot everywhere.. I've lived in Thailand, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Oxford (UK) and Hungary before .

I'm cheerful, energetic and friendly. Love meeting new people, sharing ideas and knowledge, as well as learning more about the world. My hobbies include reading, dancing, doing yoga, taking photographs.

And.. traveling.. is in my blood! ;) I have been to 22 countries as of February 2016! ( Many more are yet to come! :D)

My most interesting trip was in April 2012, when I went to London alone for 7 days to fulfilled my dream of traveling alone and it was amazing :) (I still prefer traveling with companions though)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I'm unable to host as I live in a student hostel which does not allow bringing in guests, but I am willing to hang out :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2014 - Surfed in Prague (with Todd Place), Bratislava (with Mark Seman), Zurich (With Rudolf), Paris (with Chakib)
2015 - Surfed in Salzburg (with Kevin), visited Todd, previous host in Prague :)

兴趣

I like traveling, good conversations, exploring the history of each country, reading, listening to chillax music.. and as seen in my profile pictures, I love dancing and yoga!

More importantly, I am truly interested in voluntary projects and I wanna create an impact to the world. I've done voluntary jobs in many countries, had my own project last month, and my ultimate goal is to have my own NGO in Thailand.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- Went London alone for 7 days when I was 18 (2012). It took a lot of courage but it was really worthwhile!
- Completed trips to 21 countries when I was 21
- Volunteered in Hungary to teach autistic kids for 6 weeks in 2014
- Had my own voluntary project, leading 12 people to help children in 2015
- Live life every single day to the fullest!

I believe everyone is like a book, has some amazing stories await sharing, and it's our job to find it out!
People come and go, yet always remember to treasure those precious ones. We aren't able to keep all the books, but we can choose which books to keep though :)
