Edit: Recently bought a flat on Brighton seafront in the UK and am now based there

I'm from England and have lived in Morocco for 5 years.

My flat in the centre-ville near the train station, i.e. not in the old medina where most tourists will be. It's the 1930s French built Ville Nouvelle.
