ABOUT ME
probably, "A Southern girl that knows the Northern lights." Northern syrup with a Southern drawl. syrup, not sugar.
I'd be glad to give directions/ valuable touristy marks in the area, especially if it gives way to that person feeling more ready and able to roam the neighborhood.
""Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?""
PHILOSOPHY
"life delights in life"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Though this might not be a couchsurfing experience... My lovely friend Derek Johnston, a Scottish stand up comedian, took me to an open mic show. I got to "roughhouse improv" backstage with comedians from all over the UK. ...The most humble and playful of people. On, Derek Johnston, and my footwear of choice:... thank you, Derek. Scotland, of course, might be no place for you and those.Derek Johnston: I beg to differ. After our recent snowfall, I can think of no more practical footwear for the discerning gent.Charity: you know... I wear these insoles under the toes that would make an elegant walk out of John Candy.Derek Johnston: Only John Candy didn't do too much walking.Charity: Marvin Gaye was a slow walker, and he still got it on. "We're all sensative people" Derek.or...Billy Joel "She's always a woman to me"
Interests
Dance. Showers and tourist naps. Rain, and weather patterns, babies on the NYC subway, animalistic sports, untidy activity and dirty senses of humor. The many kinds of very short skirts there are, and long and generous pants, The fashion industry, photos, gardens, city streets, the wide outside and yonder. Throwing out old information, and familiar things. Far reaching green fields. My favorite thing though? Honestly? The deep upstate autumn weather outside as it begins to "rattle around" says a friend of mine. The cold on my face and in my breath while it brings the earth out from under itself for one last time. Maybe, only, for the way that the same weather feels in other places across the ocean and how I've thought of it. Just, only for how it reminds me of the same feeling and from always. The smell of the outside and its wide possibility, and how it keeps me content to stay in the place I am - where winter is coming. I always want to leave and explore in the Fall?! And, for how it settles everyone into the hands of our more immediate company, really. Though, since living in a tropical state, which is not my natural state, ...and having lived in Texas one summer... I feel like I could live anywhere and would want to. I don't feel as much of a "biological pull" for the seasons to change, and a wanting for the sun to be slightly higher on the horizon line and further away. There's also something about office supply stores - the smell of paper, full notebooks with clean lines, barely anything and the complete minimum, thin and organized file folders ... just saying.I dislike small-talk by force. whew, But it's good that we know. I love things that are like almost being said, and things that are said directly, and banter, conversation, and also sometimes quietness. I've been out of school for a little while, so I've forgotten what most words mean anyway. Or, is that wishful thinking on my part? I was hoping I might have. ..So ... very in love with so many kinds and forms of art, things, and music and stuff, and the language people choose.

"It is not only light that falls
over the world,
spreading inside your body
its suffocated snow,
so much as clarity
taking its leave of you
as if you were
on fire within.
The moon lives in the lining of your skin."
